Terms & Conditions

  • For large scale works and refurbishment projects, a deposit is payable in advance of no less than one third of the estimated contract value covering the purchase of relevant construction materials being supplied by us and an initial wage payment.

  • Deposits/Payments for large scale works can be paid either by cash or Direct Bank Transfer.

  • For small scale works payment can be made by cash or debit/credit card via the Paypal Here (Chip & Pin) system.

  • The only accepted debit/credit cards are MasterCard, Visa or Maestro.

  • Additional labour/material costs resulting from variations to the original specified estimate or additional works being added to it whilst the works are in progress will,once agreed,be added to your final invoice for payment.

  • The remaining balance for labour and any additionalmaterials needed for variations to the original estimate is payable in full on completion of the works and receipt of final invoice.

  • All work is guaranteed,providing payment in full has been received on issue of the final invoice.Payment is to be made to the engineer on completion of the works.

The Guarantee

  • The guarantee shall be for labour only in respect of faulty workmanship.Faults resulting from the failure of manufacturers components will be subject to survey,at the expense of others,and referring to the manufacturers individual guarantees and warranties.

Materials

  • Materials supplied by us are chargeable and are listed on either your full written estimate or final invoice.

  • The collection of such materials (large scale works only) from our merchants/suppliers is charged at a one of payment of £30.00 to cover time and fuel expenditure.

  • There is no collection fee for materials used from our own stock or materials locally sourced for small scale repair works or modifications.

  • Materials or appliances supplied by the customer found to be damaged,defective or with components missing will be their responsibility in so far as return and replacement at the use of their time and financial outlay.

Parking

  • Where off road or street parking is not available in areas operating a resident parking permit system,the relevant visitors parking permits will be required for the duration of the works.If they are not available then the pay and display tariff (for the duration of the work) will be added to your final invoice.You would be well advised to check on the parking restrictions within your Borough and ensure that you have the correct visitor parking permits available,it is the cheaper option.

Congestion Charge

  • If your property falls within the current zone of administration then the current daily rate (for the duration of the work) will be added to your final invoice.

Rubbish Clearance

  • To comply with current regulations all waste has to be removed by a licensed waste carrier for disposal at a registered site.This means either the use of a skip or the hire of a local licensed rubbish clearance operative.What ever method you decide on,make sure provision is made for the additional cost of this service in your final analysis for total outlay of your proposed project.

  • We will bag any rubbish generated from the build and stack it in a suitable place prior to its collection or,if you decide on a skip,we will simply load it.Make sure you contact your local Council in order to obtain the correct skip licence for its legal delivery outside your property.

  • Minor debris generated from small repair works or alterations will be removed from site by us free of charge.This however,does not include sanitaryware or baths.
